OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 4 for OnePlus 11; with this update, the brand has delivered many new exciting features for enhancing the user’s experience as per their convenience. Among dozens of new features, the File Dock and Recent Files feature is one of the countable ones.

Previously, the brand removed the File Dock and Recent Files features in the OnePlus 11 OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2. And then, in the next open beta 3 update, the brand again delivered it. It seems that the brand is experimenting with adding new convenient features and options to the beta builds with upgrades and improvements. So, the users might see more features in upcoming builds even before the stable release of the update.

The file Dock feature permits the users to keep all their files together in one place along with smooth and better multitasking on their smartphone. For example, whenever the users want any important text from a specific website through any browser, they can choose and then have to long-press it. A prompt will display in the right-top corner, and then they will see the option to “Save to File Dock”. Also, with a simple drag-and-drop action, then their text is stored in the File Dock.

However, this feature is handy for saving various file types, such as notes and images, which were not spotted in the previous OxygenOS 14 builds. Apart from this, the File Dock is integrated with functions such as Read Aloud, Translate, and Quick Note that work along with a tap on the three dots next to the select text.

Another useful feature is Recent Files, which offers quick access to recently used documents and images. This makes sure that all recent materials are easily accessible, which helps to make it easier to manage and utilize content on user’s OnePlus smartphones.
