Within months of the official launch, the Realme GT 2 receives its first software update from the company. This is a security update.

The update mentioned is currently directed at the Realme GT 2 5G. The reference build matches RMX3312_11_A.17 and consists of updating security patches in April 2022, and has a weight of about 875MB. While the full changelog is known, the main novelty concerns the April 2022 security patches but, given the high weight, it is also safe to expect fairly serious bug fixes. These include resolving about 3 software vulnerabilities.
The update described is currently being rolled out via OTA in some Asian countries, but it is not excluded that the rollout will be expanded in the coming hours. For other Realme GT 2 drives Realme UI 3.0 may arrive pre-installed.
