These Samsung Galaxy S & Note models will get its last major Android update with One UI 5.0

Samsung’s software update policy beats all smartphone makers as all flagship smartphones and tablets launched after 2021 will get four years of Android major updates and five years of security patches. But some smartphones are capable of Android 13 update and will receive its last major Android update this year.

All the flagship devices launched in 2019 have received three major Android updates. According to Samsung’s new software update policy, all flagships launched after 2021 will get 4 year Android major update.

But there are also two devices that are yet to get their last update. Which includes Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite which were launched in 2020 with Android 10 and as per the previous update policy, they have received only 2 major Android updates right now and after the official launch of Android 13, they will get the last update as One UI 5.

  • Galaxy Note 10 Lite

Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite with Android 10 out-of-the-box, so they’re still covered by the company’s three-year software update policy and are currently running Android 12-based One UI 4.1 skin and the Android 13 will be available after official launch of One UI 5.
