Apple Plans To Manufacture iPhone 14 Variants In India

Beginning of the month, Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple is in the plan to manufacture iPhone 14 6.1-inch models simultaneously in China with the help of Foxconn’s iPhone manufacturing in India. Now, the company is also planning to start manufacturing the forthcoming iPhone 14 series in the country.

According to the Bloomberg report, Apple has plans to begin manufacturing the iPhone 14 series in India. It reported that the company would start the production of the iPhone 14 after two months of the release of the iPhone models made in China. As per the information, Apple is planning to ramp up production in India and reduce the duration of manufacturing a new iPhone in the country. Basically, the process of manufacturing the iPhone is nearly six to nine months from the previous launches.

Apple shifted production to India due to the fact that Apple has three different suppliers such as Foxconn, Wistron, and Pegatron. Also, the three suppliers are part of the government. Moreover, the report said that the first batch of India-made iPhone 14 is expected to be finished in late October or early November, While the iPhone 14 series is launching on 7 September 2022. Apple plans to release a total of four iPhone models, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
