Google has recently debuted its new Pixel 8 lineup and now it has photographed “Minerals” for the default Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro backgrounds, and to a slight extent a different version of that wallpaper collection is also now available on Google’s bigger screen devices such as Pixel Fold and Tablet.
Google through the new wallpapers delivering an all-over new, classy, and modern appearance. The owners of the device will get a new vibe from their old device.
Google just offers four squarish wallpapers to Pixel Fold which split between light and dark: Calcite and Sphalerite. So now the owners of the Pixel Fold devices will get more customization options which will surely enhance their experience. This translates to how the foldable is available in Obsidian and Porcelain. And they are again photographed by Andrew Zuckerman.
On the opposite side, Google offered the brand new eight colorful wallpapers to Pixel tablets including Danburite, Ilvaite, Barite, and Dioptase. All of these eight are much more colorful as compared to others and are available in widescreen variants.
Jumping on the Pixel 8 lineup, it has 16 wallpapers in the same collection which are as follows;
- Hematite – Blue
- Selenite – Tan
- Fluorite – Blue
- Apophyllite – Green
- Fluorite – Purple
- Fluorite – Green
- Halite – Coral
- Barite – Blue
On the Pixel’s larger screen devices i.g., Tablet and Fold, the new Minerals wallpaper addition complements the “Feathers” collection and Follows Google adding up more of the existing Living Universe live backgrounds last month.
Without being affected by the availability of emojis and generative AI backgrounds, Google will in all conceivable, continue making defaults for every Pixel generation and as announced a handful of latest wallpapers in recent weeks.
