Android 14 from a recent couple of weeks remains a hot topic among the Android smartphone’s fans community. The die heart fans community is already awaiting the stable release of the latest Android 14 by which they get new features and modern facilities. Finally, Google has launched the very first beta of Android 14 QPR1. Yes! It brings lots of amazing features and upgrades, including support for battery charge cycle counts on Pixel smartphones.

Android 14 QPR1 Beta Brings New “Battery Information” Feature

Android 14 QPR1 beta program brings the latest feature names as Battery Information. Now the Pixel users in their smartphone’s settings appear a new section for checking all the information regarding their phone’s battery. With this latest feature, the users will get to know all the information such as the manufacturing date of the battery, and how many counts of charge cycle that the battery has gone through.

For checking the information users can easily check by following the steps mentioned here; Go to Settings >> About Phone >> Scroll Down >> Battery Information.

Through this new battery information feature the users will be able to see the age of their battery. However, it does not include obvious and understandable statistics, i.e., battery health or maximum capacity. On the other hand, the brand Apple also provides support for battery cycle counts in iOS 17 on the latest iPhone 15 lineup, unlikely casually following universal complaints regarding the issues overtime on the iPhone 14 lineup.

It is expected that Google will surely in the future update lengthen the matrix or information of the battery more clearly shown in Android, while this is a good first step. It is not clear yet if this change will appear on all Android smartphones or not.
