Oppo Reno 8 Pro ColorOS x Android 14 Beta Program Live

Oppo has announced that Reno 8 Pro 5G users will also be able to participate in the ColorOS based on the Android 14 beta program, but only in India. The beta program was initially only available for the OPPO A77, A57, and Reno 9 Pro. However, Oppo has now decided to add the Reno 8 Pro 5G to the roster.

ColorOS 14, based on the Android 14 beta program, allows users to try out the latest features and improvements of Oppo’s custom Android skin before the official release. The beta program is currently available in India, but the Chinese tech giant may expand it to other regions. If you are a Reno 8 Pro user in India and want to participate in the Android 14-based ColorOS 14 beta program, make sure your device is updated to the detectable version: CPH2357_13.1.0.580(EX01).

  • Time of Application: From August 30 to August 31 (you must submit your application during this window, or the application channel will be closed)

How to apply?

  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap About device.
  • Tap on the ColorOS version.
  • Click the icon in the top right.
  • choose beta update
  • Follow the instructions given to apply.

Please note that this latest ColorOS 14 closed beta program for OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G is not a stable build and is currently in the development phase, so remember to backup all your data safely in other devices as the unstable closed beta version can be unpredictable, may result in data loss.

There is no news yet on when the company will announce its latest software skin, ColorOS 14. Android 14 is expected to launch in late September, as OnePlus announced the launch date of OxygenOS 14, so we can expect Oppo to start teasing its custom skin soon.
