Chinese tech giant Oppo is expanding the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta program to more users worldwide. OPPO A55 and OPPO A53s users are the latest to receive the ColorOS 13 beta update. Notably, the update was earlier rolled out for the Oppo F19 Pro (Indonesia) and the Reno5 F 5G (India).
Moving on, the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta brings a lot of new features, optimizations, revamped UI and several bug fixes to your OPPO A55 and A53s smartphones. Also, this beta program will help the users to experience and test the latest offering of ColorOS 13 before the official release.
Let us tell you that this update is available for OPPO A55 users in India and Indonesia and OPPO A53s users in India. This update will be available soon for other users as well. If you want to participate in a beta program, hurry up. Only the first 5000 users can participate in this beta version at the juncture.
According to the OPPO community page, the application for ColorOS 13-based Android 13 beta for OPPO A55 and A53s is open from March 1, 2023, to March 7, 2023, and can be accepted in batches for a limited number of users. Although this beta version is testing stages and is not an official/stable version, it is more stable than the alpha version.
Let’s talk about ColorOS 13 beta update. It brings new design philosophy and many new features, including Aquamorphic Design theme colors, vibrant theme colors, optimized task management tools, enhanced security and privacy, a new Always-on display style, refined visual effects and more.
Nevertheless, the ColorOS 13 beta version may come with some bugs, some apps may not function properly, and overheating, lagging, and fast battery-draining issues for your device. Therefore, we recommend not installing the beta version on your primary phone.
Before applying for the beta, check that your OPPO A55 and OPPO A53s smartphone run on the C.15/C.16 and C.28/C.29/C.30, respectively, baseline versions.

Now, head to the device’s settings, scroll down and connect on About phone, wipe on the official version, then click on the three dots icon at the top right, click on the trial version, fill in your information, and apply now.
