March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop Changelog Leaks Revealing Features

Google religiously releases security patches for Android devices on the first Monday of every month. Yesterday, the tech giant released the March 2023 security bulletin detailing vulnerabilities affecting Android devices. Ahead of being officially released, the March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop Changelog has been leaked, revealing a few new features and changes.

Google’s Feature Drops add new features and changes to Pixel family products every three months. Since the launch of the initiative in 2019, Google has released multiple feature drops every quarter. Like every Pixel feature drop, the March 2023 Pixel feature drop will include phones and watches.

According to a new report from 9to5Google, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are getting enhanced Night Sight features, letting you take photos even faster in low light,” which first arrived on the Pixel 7 series.

The Direct My Call feature is now being made available on the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5a, allowing users to better manage the automated menu system during calls. The new update will now also preload the Health Connect app, previously downloaded separately through the Google Play Store.

Finally, the company also mentioned the recent expansion of Magic Eraser to all Pixel phone owners as part of last month’s Google One announcement. On the wearable, Google mentions the Pixel Watch Fall Detection feature.

However, this is all we know from the details leaked online. However, there could be more details, but we will have to wait till Google pushes the update to Pixel smartphones. I hope it comes soon.
