OnePlus 8/8 Pro OxygenOS 13.1 Update Reaches In North America

Last month, OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 13.1 update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones in India and European countries. Now, the company is expanding the OxygenSO 13.1 update for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro to more countries.

OnePlus 8/8 Pro smartphones are now receiving the OxygenOS 13.1 update in North America. The latest software update for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro comes with OxygenOS firmware versions IN2015_13.1.0.513(EX01) and IN2025_13.1.0.513(EX01), respectively.

OnePlus is now rolling out the major OxygenOS 13.1 software update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphone devices to more regions. After the initial roll out in India, the company is now expanding this update to Europe, which includes TalkBack, Zen Space, Simple Mode, new Championship Mode, and music playback controls for Game Assistant. This update comes with the following version numbers:

  • OnePlus 8: IN2013_13.1.0.513(EX01)
  • OnePlus 8 Pro: IN2023_13.1.0.513(EX01)

There is good news for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphone users as they are now getting the dynamic OxygenOS 13.1 update. The latest software update has unlocked a bunch of new features that are significantly aimed at enhancing the overall user experience.

According to the details, the OnePlus 8 is getting the new firmware with the IN2011_13.1.0.513(EX01) version. Whereas, OnePlus 8 Pro users can identify the update with the IN2021_13.1.0.513(EX01) build number.

Currently, the firmware is rolling out in batches in India. Hence the process may take time. Still, you can drive to Settings > About device > OxygenOS version to install the firmware manually.

As per the changelog, the OxygenOS 13.1 version brings a lot of new features and improvements that should enhance all aspects of the device. This latest firmware offers personalization, efficient performance, boasting gaming, health features and much more. However, this update does not bring the new auto-connect feature due to some technical issues.

In addition, the update brings a new TalkBack feature that recognizes and announces images in apps and photos. Plus, it combines the new Zen Space app with two different modes, Deep Zen and Light Zen, to help you focus on the present.

For the gaming experience, the update adds a new Championship Mode to Game Assistant, which improves performance as well as disables notifications, calls and other messages to give you a more immersive gaming experience. Plus, it also adds music playback controls to the game assistant, so you can easily listen to and control music while gaming. For more details, see the full changelog below.
