First Galaxy S21 Series Android 14 One UI 6.0 Firmware Details Revealed

A few weeks ago, Samsung started testing Android 14 and One UI 6.0 updates for some of its phones. Test builds have already reached the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Fold 4 and others, and the One UI 6.0 beta program could launch as early as this week. Now, the first One UI 6.0 internal test firmware for the Galaxy S21 series has been spotted on Samsung servers.

As per reports, the company has been spotted testing the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series for India and the UK. (via @tarunvats33). The Android 14-based firmware for the Galaxy S22+ spotted on Samsung’s servers bears firmware version G996BXXU9FWG6.

When will Galaxy S21 series users have access to the One UI 6.0 beta?

Note that the test builds are not available for download, as seen on Samsung’s servers. The beta program is not open yet, and no Galaxy S21 series users can access these firmware versions. But the fact that they exist on Samsung’s internal test servers confirms that the company is close to opening the beta program through its Members app later this year.

Samsung is expected to start rolling out the One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S23 series first in the next week. Later, the South Korean tech giant may expand the One UI 6.0 beta program to more high-end and premium mid-range phones, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
