OnePlus started rolling out the July 2023 security update to its phones a few weeks ago. The OnePlus Nord CE and the Nord 2T were the first phones to get it, and over the past few days, the update has reached several mid-range phones. Now, the July 2023 security update has started reaching the OnePLus Nord.
The latest software update for the OnePlus Nord bears firmware version AC2001_11_F.21. It is rolling out in India and brings the July 2023 security patch that fixes several security flaws found in the previous software version. It doesn’t include any performance improvements or feature additions.
The latest Nord update is based on OxygenOS 12, so if your smartphone is updated to OxygenOS 12, you will get the latest patch notification. And if the notification hasn’t popped up on your smartphone, you can also check it manually via the About device >> OxygenOS version section in the Settings app.
Speaking about the changelog, OnePlus has released this update to improve the system stability of the phone, and this type of patch contributes to the performance and smooth operation. The update is currently available in India, and we expect it to expand to other carriers in the next few days.
