OnePlus has finally opened the OxygenOS 14 closed beta program for the OnePlus 11R device in India. The Chinese OEM has started to lighten up the beta activity for its flagship models and will bring the latest offerings to further models in the upcoming days. Ahead of the official release the tech giant is providing a major Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 beta to the OnePlus 11R.
The OnePlus 11R owners in India can experience the latest OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 software updates. The update has its identification version number, which is CPH2487_13.1.0.581. The update has arrived with lots of new and modern features for enhancing the user’s experience as well as the device’s performance.
The OxygenOS 14 closed beta program for the OnePlus 11R is only open for a few limited testers. To join the beta program, the users must make sure to have a look at the eligibility criteria as well as application details. As per the inputs, the developers are only inviting 500 users for testing the OxygenOS 14 phase. The requirements for the programs are as follows;
- Firstly, the users must have their own OnePlus 11R India variant.
- The users should be an active Community member of OnePlus.
- The users must regularly get in touch, communicate and report bugs/ suggestions to the OnePlus team by Feedback app.
- So, I joined the CBT (Closed Beta Test) Telegram group to communicate with other active users and the OnePlus team.
How To Apply For Joining The Closed Beta Program
Suppose the users who want to join CBT have the eligibility criteria. In that case, they can proceed by following the steps mentioned here: Go to Settings >> About device >> Up to date >> Tap icon on the top right >> Beta program >> Follow the steps to apply.
Once the application is accepted, the users will be able to receive the version within three working days. Go to Settings >> About Device >> Download Now to Download the version.
Known Issues
However, the update is still in the beta stage, so it obviously includes a few known errors or issues. In this article, let’s check out all the general issues;
- The service governance framework has come to a stop running, error during on standby on the Storage page.
- While using a 20W charger normal charging animation is shown.
- With this beta update the charging icon on the lock screen does not display the decimal point.
- “The network service has stopped running” error on the mobile network page.
- It includes the black screen issue or trouble when returning to the desktop after applying the theme set.
- Under the dark environment, after tapping on the automatic brightness adjustment icon in the status bar screen flashes.
- Weather App displays error while turning on location or switching app clones.
