OnePlus 11R Is The First Flagship Grade Phone To Get The July 2023 Security Update

And finally! The wait for the latest security update for OnePlus flagship devices ends here. The Chinese tech maker has started sending out the freshly released July 2023 improvement patch for its flagship handset, the OnePlus 11R. However, at present this update is available only for a limited number of users. But the brand will gradually increase its repetition in the coming days.

The new update is rolling out to some Indian users and may be expanded to more regions and users soon after ensuring stability

Up to this point, OnePlus has offered several of its mid-rangers models with the July 2023 update. However, for some unknown reasons, the manufacturer left out this good part for the OnePlus flagship devices. But it seems that the tech giant has finally heard the voice of its users and has rolled out the new security patch for the respective smartphones.

As per the community post, the OnePlus 11R July 2023 update is rolling out with build version CPH2487_13.1.0.581(EX01). Apart from this, you can also download the update for a simple experience.

The update includes the July 2023 security patch that fixes various security flaws found in previous versions of OxygenOS on Galaxy phones and tablets. The update does not bring any new features or performance enhancements.

If you own the OnePlus 11R 5G and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update right away. You can do this by going to Settings » About device » OxygenOS version and tapping on Download and Install.
