OPPO Android 14: How To Rollback From ColorOS 14 To ColorOS 13?

OPPO’s in-house software skin, ColorOS 14, which is based on Android 14, has been rolled out by the brand. It’s been a while since the release of the Developer preview of the ColorOS 14, and recently, the brand has rolled out the ColorOS 14 beta version for users. With the introduction of the Android 14 version, users have noticed various significant tweaks and enhancements within the interface. The ColorOS 14 is currently running in its beta phase, and certain users want to roll back from the ColorOS 14 version to the more stable ColorOS 13 version.

To those unaware, OPPO released its next ColorOS version for the OPPO models a few days ago. The company launched the first Android 14 beta program for the flagship device, the OPPO Find N2 Flip, in May. Recently, the brand has released the newest beta update to other smartphones, including OPPO Reno 8 Pro, OPPO Reno 8 5G, OPPO Reno 10 5G, OPPO A57 and OPPO A77 respectively. Alongside, OPPO A78 5G has also received this new update. Though the rolling-out process is gradual, it is expected that OPPO will roll out its latest software beta program to other flagship models in a few coming days.

Meanwhile, the current Android 14 version is currently running in its beta phase. Several users have reported that they have been experiencing certain issues the moment they have upgraded to the latest ColorOS 14 version. While running in the beta state, the new ColorOS 14 has various bugs which prevent users from operating their smartphones properly. Due to this, users have been looking for the more stable version, the ColorOS 13, to get a smooth and better software experience. 

How to Rollback from ColorOS 14 To ColorOS 13?

  • Firstly, Download the rollback firmware from the above link and then transfer the link to your smartphone. Unfortunately, the download link is not officially available, and we will update you as soon as the link is available to us.
  • Now go to Settings, then select About device >> hit the ColorOS version >> click on the three dots menu >> Local install.
  • Now click on the Rollback firmware >> then Extract >> Upgrade >> Downgrade will begin.
  • Once completed, your smartphone will reboot to the more stable ColorOS 13 version.
