Google Messages Getting New Update For Web: Brings Animated Emoji

Google first blessed Android users with the Google Messages‘ latest update, and now, finally, it’s turning for web users to receive this update. The Web users with this latest update will get upgraded branding, animated emoji, and many more. Google Messages is obviously a part of Google Workspace, which keeps the user’s conversations safe and secure, offers more ways to say more than ever, and so on. What’s New Google Messages Is Getting 

The noticeable change the update has brought is now the iconic ‘G’ with four colors, which is placed in front of ‘Messages’ at the top left corner of the web and tablets. The other change is it more absolutely associates RCS (and SMS) with Google as the company works to secure its consumer messaging scheme. 

The interesting part of the update is brand new emoticons, yes messages.google.com/web, and the tablet PWA has received animated emojis in SMS and RCS conversations. However, the android users already experienced this feature in June. The users use “Grimacing,” grabs a shifty-eyed animation, whereas “Loudly-crying” fully expresses the waterworks.” Noticeably, the animation will loop for a few seconds before ending. 

The company widely rolled out this update on all other clients but smartphones (even in the beta channel); however, availability has been gathering up recently. After upgrading the app with this update, the emoji will no longer state in a messages bubble and come into view directly in the background. 

Basically, Google Messages is getting the latest update, through which it is getting animated emojis and upgraded branding to enhance the user experience. Now, the users will get a totally modern look.
