OnePlus Open Joins The List Of Getting Green Line, Says Reports

A lot of phones have been facing green line issues in the recent past, and OnePlus’ newly launched flagship foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, has also joined the list of getting green line as several users have reported that they are facing green line issues suddenly, along with some dead pixels in the hinge area of their Open.

Despite sporting several great functionalities, the OnePlus Open has also become the victim of green line issues after OnePlus’ several other devices, including the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 9, started to display green lines on their respective OLED panels soon after updating to the OxygenOS 13 stable update.

Surprisingly, now there are reports coming about black lines, which are dead pixels near its hinge area, as reported by a tipster, Abhishek Yadav, on X (Twitter). He uploaded a post saying, “Reddit user reported black and green lines on display of the OnePlus Open (Fold)”.

Meanwhile, along with the green line, users have been facing dead pixels near the hinge area, resulting in a very annoying experience as they are unable to use the display properly on their foldable device. However, the OnePlus Open comes pre-installed with the OxygenOS 13 version, and users have stated in their complaints that they have been facing green line issues after they updated their device with the OxygenOS 13 stable firmware.

So it seems like the green line is occurring due to some software issues; however, OnePlus has not acknowledged the green as well as black line issues yet. Surprisingly,  these issues are coming only a few weeks after the brand had to introduce a free lifetime screen warranty for its users. In addition, OnePlus has not provided any fix to the problem, so users are only left with the option to rush towards the service center.
