iOS 17.3 Updates Brings Modules Feature For iPhone

Apple does not disclose security issues until tests, patches, or releases are available to protect its customers. iOS 17.3 brings big updates to massages, facetime, widgets, safari, music, airplay, and more. 

This update introduced additional security measures with stolen device protection and other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone. This feature is available for all iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models.

Stolen Device Protection

Stolen Device Protection increases the security of iPhone and Apple ID by requiring Face ID or Touch ID with no passcode fallback to perform certain actions.

Security Delay requires Face ID or Touch ID, an hour’s wait, and an additional successful biometric authentication before sensitive operations like changing device passcode or Apple ID password can be performed.

Lock Screen

• New Unity wallpaper honours Black history and culture in celebration of Black History Month in the US.

Music

• Collaborative playlists allow you to invite friends to join your playlist, and everyone can add, reorder, and remove songs.
• Emoji reactions can be added to any track in a collaborative playlist.

This update also includes the following improvements

• AirPlay hotel support lets you stream content directly to the TV in your room in selected hotels.
• AppleCare & Warranty in Settings shows your coverage for all devices signed in with your Apple ID.
• Crash detection optimizations (all iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models).

Along with this, its previous update, 17.2, included similar things like a journal app that lets you write about the little moments and big events of your life, making it easier to remember your experiences by grouping together your outings, photos, workouts, and other moments.

iCloud sync keeps your journal entries secure and encrypted. Other features included action buttons, improved telephoto camera focusing speed when capturing distant objects, weather, and assistance for quickly translating phrases or having a conversation with someone in another language. This update comes to iPhone 15 and 15 Pro Max.
