Samsung’s first rugged smartphone is here! In the series of bringing the latest smartphones, Samsung has launched its first-ever rugged smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy XCover7, in India, marking its debut in the Indian market. 

Samsung’s latest and first rugged smartphone, the Galaxy XCover7, has military-grade certification and sports a programmable key that can be used for various customizable options such as push-to-talk, and barcode scanner, and quickly access your most preferred applications with just a single click. 

This robust Galaxy XCover7 rugged smartphone is considered the toughest with impressive features, especially designed for extremely tough working environments. In contrast, Samsung has introduced the latest XCover7 with two interesting yet tough, rugged smartphone variants, including the Standard Model and the Enterprise edition.

With that, the Korean-bound smartphone manufacturer is also providing a Samsung Knox subscription for 12 months with the Galaxy XCover7 Enterprise Edition, while customers are going to receive a 1-year brand warranty on the standard model and at the same time, they will get a 2-year warranty for the Enterprise model, respectively. At the same time, Samsung is offering a 12-month Samsung Knox subscription along with a 2-year warranty with the XCover7 Enterprise Edition, thus making it a more useful yet logical choice for purchase. 

Samsung Galaxy XCover7 Rugged smartphone: Specifications and Features 

With regards to its pricing, Samsung has brought two variants, both variants are exactly similar to each other in terms of their features and specifications; the only difference is within their warranty periods. Likewise, the standard variant is priced at Rs. 27,208 ($325), while the other Enterprise model has a Rs. 27,530 ($330) price tag. 

The new Samsung XCover7 rugged smartphone features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display panel with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolutions. Toughness meets durability as the new XCover7 rugged smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, allowing you to use the smartphone without any worries. The smartphone is powered with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for a much enhanced and improved multitasking experience. 

Shipping with the latest Android 14-based One UI 6 firmware, the XCover7 features a convenient yet customizable key. Regarding camera capabilities, this rugged device is equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. Sporting an IP68 rating, you will get water and dust-resistant capability. At the same time, the device packs a 4,050mAh detachable battery power with 15W charging support. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, touch sensitivity support, gloves usage, and a POGO charging pin.
