Nothing Phone (2a) and Phone (1) are Receiving New Software Update, Featuring Camera Improvements and More 

Soon after the launch of the next device within the mid-range category, the Nothing Phone (2a), which has arrived with several interesting and most sought-after features and specs, Nothing has significantly begun rolling out the new software upgrades to the devices, including the Phone (2a) and the infamous Phone (1), respectively.

Nothing is rolling out the latest Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5.3 for the Nothing Phone (2a), which brings several general improvements, a refreshed UI experience, enhancements and upgrades to the camera app, and plenty of other bug fixes and improvements. Additionally, the most recent update includes some performance optimizations and improves overall system stability for a much more stable and smooth user experience. 

Nothing has just launched the Nothing Phone (2a), and the phone has just gotten a new update, the Nothing OS 2.5.3, which is based on Android 14, out of the box, including several camera improvements, optimized performance, and some new handy widgets.   • Fixed the issue where the pedometer widget would reset after switching time zones.
  • Resolved the issue where app icons would not display on the home screen after swiping up to unlock in specific scenarios.
  • Resolved the occasional issue where the fingerprint unlock would not respond when the screen was off.
  • Resolved the occasional black screen issue on the lock screen interface.
  • Optimized the overall stability of the system.
