Two New Important Utility Changes are Rolling out in the Latest WhatsApp Beta Updates

WhatsApp always ensured that the users should get the most advanced yet convenient user experience, bringing various useful features, and that’s probably one of the biggest reasons for its popularity. With that, this Meta-owned application has begun rolling out two of its latest features: one isthe ability to share videos up to 1 minute in length, while the other is the ability to scan Ua UPIQR code from the chat list.

As of now, WhatsApp is rolling out the ability to share a video status that’s up to 1 minute in length and to scan the UPI QR codes from the chat list to a limited number of beta testers. Simultaneously, both of the above-mentioned features and capabilities have been spotted by WABetaInfo, while having the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.7.6 version number allows beta users to share their video status update of up to 1 minute in length.

In the meantime, earlier sharing the videos to status updates posed a limit of up to 30 seconds, while WhatsApp has been extending the limit and will soon be allowing users to share their videos to status updates for up to 1 minute in length. Although the capability to share longer videos with the status updates will be considered a useful update, users will not face the inconvenience of sharing their videos with the status updates in 30 seconds of small portions.

On the flip side, another update to WhatsApp beta for Android with the 2.24.7.3 version number brings the ability to scan the UPI QR codes from the chat list. Rolling out to beta testers, this new capability adds a new shortcut that allows users to scan the UPI QR codes directly within the chat list, eliminating the need to switch to several other applications in order to make payments. Also, with the integration of the ability to make secure payments through WhatsApp by scanning the UPI QR codes directly within the chat list, the platform is making ways for much more reliable, faster, and more convenient transactions for its users.

In addition, both of the above-mentioned features are currently available to some limited beta testers, while WhatsApp will soon make both capabilities available to more people over the coming days.
