OnePlus 12R North American units started receiving massive April 2024 update

OnePlus is currently busy distributing the latest April 2024 security patch updates to all of its eligible devices. While the majority of devices have already received the new update in certain regions, the OnePlus 12R units have begun receiving the update, which is packed with massive features and other relevant enhancements.

These include the addition of new smoother animations and transitions for a smooth visual experience, certain animation optimizations, background color optimizations, and Gaussian blur effects in the Quick Settings, Notification drawer, Home screen drawer, and Global Search. 

Meanwhile, the update further introduces a new touch control experience that significantly improves touch control responsiveness. Tapping and swiping on the home screen and recent tasks screen is now faster and more stable. Additionally, opening and closing apps is now much quicker, and animations have been optimized while using large folders. 

In addition, through the latest update, users will now be able to adjust the volume in Quick Settings, the ability to hide the track while drawing the lock screen pattern to unlock the device and adjust the size of a floating window by dragging its bottom and swipe up gesture to close a mini window.
