OnePlus’ Next Foldable, The OnePlus Open 2, Eyeing For Early 2025 Launch With Much Improved Display Crease

It’s been a while since OnePlus entered the foldable smartphone industry by introducing its top-notch premium foldable model, the OnePlus Open. This model was highly praised due to its high-end features and specifications. Undoubtedly, the OnePlus Open has been considered the best foldable phone of OnePlus. Meanwhile, customers eagerly await its next foldable iteration, the OnePlus Open 2. It seems like OnePlus is eyeing the launch of its next foldable model, which will probably be in early 2025.

It’s natural that OnePlus has already started working on its next foldable iteration, the OnePlus Open 2, behind the curtains. Meanwhile, rumours and leaks never stop floating around, and the most recent leak was shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station, who stated a few details regarding the next version of the OnePlus Open.

OnePlus Open 2 is probably arriving in the early 2025

According to DCS’s reports, the next version of the OnePlus Open will arrive in Q1 2025. Meanwhile, the reason behind this delay could probably be the inclusion of the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset rather than using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, though it’s also possible that the new foldable will bring some other improvements.

Another advantage behind the subsequent OnePlus foldable launch delay could be the improvements to its display crease, to which the DCS claims that the OnePlus Open 2 will feature a ‘Super Flat’ glass on its inner display, ensuring even less crease. Although the OnePlus Open already features a top-notch display, it’s impressive that the brand focuses on improving the already-good display crease of the next OnePlus Open 2.
