The Chinese tech giant has recently started rolling out a new software update that mainly brings the Communication Sharing feature alongside the OxygenOSA 13.1 June 2023 security update.
Identified via version OPD2203_11_A.23, the June 2023 security update is currently rolling out for limited OnePlus Pad users. The company could make it available in more users in the coming days or weeks.
As per reports, the Chinese tech giant has rolled out the OxygenOS 13.1 update over the air for its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad. The update comes with new sharing features, bug fixes, and the June 2023 Android security update integration.
OnePlus said that a new sharing feature had been added to the OnePlus Pad that allows the tablet to use the phone’s communication functions to make and answer calls using the 5G network and send and receive SMS messages. Consequently, OnePlus Pad users can now enjoy enhanced communication-sharing capabilities and seamless cross-screen functionality.
Moving on, this new communication-sharing feature allows Pad users to log in to the same account as their OnePlus smartphone and share mobile communication functionality within a 10-meter distance.
Apart from the communication sharing feature, this update also installs the June 2023 Android security update to enhance the system security and fixes many bugs affecting the user experience.
