Xiaomi unveiled its new custom user interface of MIUI on 27 April 2020 based on MIUI 12. It brings global dark mode, including non-linear anti-color algorithms, etc.
It adapts to more applications of dark mode, adopts a new “Miyou light cone dynamic effect architecture”, brings super wallpaper, and launches Privacy protection functions such as flares, interception nets, and hidden masks.
It appears Xiaomi will be rolling out MIUI 12 to numerous devices over the next few weeks. Yet, till now there were a few phones that had remained untouched by this software upgrade cycle.
