OnePlus is currently busy in rolling out the latest ColorOS 14 update to all of its eligible devices in its hometown, China. This newest ColorOS 14 Update, which is based on Android 14 out of the box, brings several interesting features and upgrades. Although it’s the third time OnePlus is pushing the latest ColorOS 14 update to its devices, it brings some more features and enhancements.
OnePlus will roll out the third wave of its ColorOS 14 update, introducing additional effective features and upgrades to enhance the user experience that may not have been included in the first two ColorOS updates. The third section of the new ColorOS 14 update includes several new features and upgrades, certain optimizations, performance improvements, and more, coming to plenty of OnePlus devices in China.
The most recent ColorOS 14 update includes the following features and upgrades:
- Added a black screen, and long press the volume down button to turn on the flashlight.
- Added multiple applications to independently adjust media volume.
- Support the software store to download desktop one-click lock screen applications.
- Added call recording for some third-party applications.
- Added a weekly shift clock function.
- Added borderless splicing of album pictures.
- Supports first-letter fuzzy search in the desktop promotion mode application library.
- Microsoft PhoneLink adds a new fitness workbench entrance and recent app recommendations.
- Added a regional screenshot option to the smart sidebar.
- Optimize system application point-time response speed.
The supported Android 14-based ColorOS 14 devices are as follows:
- OnePlus 12
- OnePlus 11
- OnePlus Ace 3
- OnePlus Ace 2 Pro
- OnePlus Ace 2
With that, all these features and upgrades will be rolling out to the above-mentioned OnePlus models through the latest ColorOS 14 update, beginning from March 14th to April 16th, respectively. On the flip side, certain other OnePlus devices running ColorOS 14.0 and above will be getting the new ColorOS 14 update on or before May 31st.
