WhatsApp has already search features where you can search any message, but if you want to search any sent or received the message by a specific date then you have no option for it. Now according to wabetainfo report, WhatsApp will show a date picker if you tap the calendar icon, so you can decide the exact day where WhatsApp should start to show the search results!
Being in an alpha stage of development, the feature is not available yet for the public, but we can show you a preview. Upcoming days it will available for WhatsApp beta users.
When the feature will be added to this feature, a new Calendar icon will be added on the keyboard when you use the in-chat search mode. This feature will be very useful to quickly reach the first message in the chat. The feature is under development and it will be available in the future:
