Qualcomm Could Now Replace Intel With Samsung-made Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

Good news for the Samsung dies heart fans community! According to new information, the Korean brand may shake hands with Qualcomm to produce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. If this happens, then the company will be in profit. It could probably proceed with a customized Snapdragon chipset a year later, in which Samsung Foundry will turn out some of this chipset.

All this is being speculated from the fact that a well-known analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that Qualcomm has ended up developing SoCs. And it was invented to be built by Intel Foundry Services (IFS) using the 20A fabrication procedure. But if Samsung and Qualcomm become partners, then Qualcomm will be able to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 through a South Korean chip instead of Intel.

However, there needs to be more information about why Qualcomm has decided to end the development of SoCs by IFS. But according to tech giants, it is expected that Intel’s 20A process was pretty costly may, be because, for this reason, Qualcomm decided to stop [p the development. At the moment, Qualcomm can not afford this much expensive cost at the moment, since the brand is already fighting commercially due to poor sales.

Furthermore, it is highly expected that Samsung’s Exynos chipset might be introduced in Galaxy S25 smartphones alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy chipset. And obviously, both chips are expected to be manufactured using Samsung Foundry’s 3nm GAP procedure, providing a similar advance and smooth performance level.
