WhatsApp Improving Instant Video Messages Feature

WhatsApp already provides a feature allowing users to share instant video messages on WhatsApp for iOS and Android users. Now, the brand is enhancing this feature by introducing a new toggle that helps users manage the feature within the app settings. The quality is available in its beta stage.

Instant Video Messages – Toggle

Meta-owned WhatsApp is announcing a new feature for improving the instant video message experience. The brand previously offered the ability by which the users can record and share video messages with everyone with the latest updates of the app, and to enhance the features of instant video messages further, it is introducing a new toggle.

With a new toggle, the users can manage the facility of sharing instant video messages on both Android and iOS. Previously, the users were not eligible to turn off this feature as it was enabled by default. But now, with the new toggle, they are getting a unique power to control this feature and can disable it at their convenience whenever they want. In a way, it is convenient because most users prefer to send voice messages instead of video messages, and there was a problem with the instant video messages being enabled by default.

With this toggle, Meta’s WhatsApp provides users an option to turn off this feature altogether while constantly ensuring the ability to continue receiving video messages. However, for now, the update is only available for some of the lucky beta testers, and the interested ones can get this beta update through the Google Play Store, which owns Android and iOS. One can get this beta update from the TestFlight app. It’s rolling out to all in future updates as soon as possible.
