Threads Now Allow You To Delete Profiles Separately From Instagram Account 

Instagram’s new text app- Threads, has the record of most downloads within a few hours. But it is a different matter that the faster people downloaded it, the faster it was removed due to some lack of features. One of the most disturbing features was that if the accounts of the Threads were deleted, the Instagram account was automatically deleted because these are synced to each other. And finally, Meta has come over this issue.

Yes! Finally, the users can delete or deactivate their Threads account separately from their Instagram handle, which means that the users, while deactivating their Threads account, don’t need to worry about their Instagram handle. 

This is being speculated by a post on Threads shared by @Mosseri, which states that. 

“🔔 First, we’re rolling out a way for you to delete your Threads profile separately from your Instagram account. To delete your Thread profile.” 

By this statement, it is pretty clear that Threads users finally get the ability to delete their Threads profile separately from Instagram without even disturbing their Instagram handle. This is the feature the users need most because nobody wants to disturb their other profile because of one. 

Mosseri also mentioned the steps for deleting the Threads profile separately from the Instagram account. 

• “Visit Settings >> Account >> Delete or Deactivate Profile, then select delete.” 

Following the abovementioned steps, one can easily delete a Threads profile without effort or worry. He stated that this update is totally based on feedback from users from the Threads community. Previously, the users were getting trouble because of this inconvenient feature.
