Samsung has started to roll out their latest January security patch 2022 since the last month. Though the update was only available in the Asian and European market primarily, it is now available for a bunch of Galaxy device and in more regions. Similarly Samsung availed this latest update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 previously through the carrier network Verizon. Now again carrier network Verizon is pushing the latest January 2022 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G in the United States.

The latest January 2022 security patch update comes with a firmware version F916USQS2FULH. This current software update provides the most up to date Android security patches on the Galaxy devices. If you are from the United States and you currently have the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G through carrier network Verizon using the simple steps below:
Menu key – Settings – About phone – Software updates – Check for Updates – Download and Install update

Samsung fixed some of the major bugs like unprotected dynamic receiver in SecSettings, Improper sanitization of incoming intent in Dressroom, improper authorization in TelephonyManager, incorrect implementation of Knox Guard, etc. improper check or handling of exceptional conditions in NPU driver etc in this January 2022 security patch update.
