Huawei has begun rolling out the Android January 2021 security patch update for the Huawei Nova 5i Pro and Nova 6 SE smartphone users.
The latest update comes on EMUI 10.1.0.97 for Huawei Nova 5i Pro and EMUI 10.1.0.230 for Nova 6 SE. Huawei recently announced January 2021 security patch details and it will soon start rolling out the update to compatible devices.

The updates that it sends out include patches from both Google and itself. All of the patches included in the Android Security Bulletin for January 2021 are therefore included in this release. It includes 4 Critical, 25 High levels, and 1 Medium level.
You should be able to progressively receive the update over-the-air (OTA) on your phones via the HiCare app, or you can manually check for the update, go to System > Software update > Check for updates.
