Realme has confirmed that its next flagship, the Realme 9 (4G), will use a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 image sensor.
This will be the second smartphone from the company to include a 108MP image sensor. Notably, the prior device was the Realme 8 Pro. It did, however, come with the Samsung ISOCELL HM2. The Realme 9, on the other hand, will receive the brand new Samsung ISOCELL HM6 image sensor, making it the first handset to do so.

According to Realme, the new ISOCELL HM6 image sensor will have better features than HM2
Realme also revealed in its official news release that the new camera would be marketed under the brand name “ProLight.” The Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor employs the new NonaPixel Plus configuration with 33 pixels binning.

When compared to the ISOCELL HM2 sensor, the new image sensor’s additional advanced attributes will increase overall light absorption ability by 123 percent.
According to Realme, the sensor performs very well in low-light environments and delivers brighter photographs with superb colour reproduction.
The HM6 sensor’s “ultra-zoom” function will also be used in the future Realme 9 series. Realme 9 users will be able to shoot breathtaking zoomed-in photos with superb detail as a result of this.
The new ISOCELL HM6 108MP sensor has yet to be formally unveiled by Samsung, but it has now been revealed that the Realme 9 will be the first smartphone to feature it.
