The Dimensity 8000 chipset was announced by MediaTek on 1st March 2022. Soon after the new chipsets were announced, OPPO revealed that they would release an Android smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100, which will be OPPO K10.
The Dimensity 8000 series integrates MediaTek’s 5th generation AI processing unit, APU 580. Delivering power-efficient performance in its class. Powered by a five gigapixel per second image signal processor (ISP), the Dimensity 8000 series produces the fastest, clearest HDR photos and video in its class.
OPPO K10 equipped with the Dimensity 8000 series 5G mobile platform will be launched in the 2nd quarter of 2022. It is the first smartphone that will be launched with Dimensity 8000 processor.
