After a long wait, yesterday, Xiaomi finally launched its latest custom Android skin, MIUI 14, alongside the new flagship Xiaomi 13 series. The new software of the devices is based on the Android 13 operating system and is rated to bring improvements in terms of privacy, UI layout, and system resource usage with it.
At the event, Xiaomi also announced the Android 13-based MIUI 14 roadmap, revealing the timeline for the update’s release. Along with the roadmap, the company has provided a detailed list of its smartphones and tablets that are set to receive the MIUI 14 update in China first. The global version of MIUI 14 may be unveiled next month.
As officially shared, the MIUI 14 rollout will begin in January 2023 with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Additionally, the remaining eligible devices will receive this major update gradually within Q1, 2023. In addition to this, Xiaomi tablets will receive this latest software update in early April 2023.
