AMD’s New Zen 5 Ryzen Processor is Confirmed to Launch in the Second Half of This Year.

Following certain leaks and rumors earlier, which claim that AMD will not be releasing its next and latest Zen5 Ryzen processor as of now and that it might get delayed, the firm has recently confirmed that the new Zen5 will be launched in the market in the second half of this year.

AMD’s New Zen 5 Ryzen Processor Release Date

Through the most recent reports, it’s now confirmed that the AMD firm is going to release its Zen5 Ryzen CPU, which will be available for consumers in the second half of 2024. The CEO of AMD also confirmed the release of the Zen5-based Turin chips alongside the processor. At the same time, the latest reports hint that the forthcoming Ryzen processor will be released as per the schedule.

However, the firm hasn’t yet disclosed which chip will be launched in the second half of 2024, but it’s likely to be among the desktop processor Grinate or the mobile processor Strix Point. With that, several earlier rumors about the Ryzen 8000G series processors and the Ryzen 5700X3D perfectly support the incoming Ryzen processor’s declaration, and this might be one of the biggest competitors of Intel. Moreover, all this could come either in the middle or at the end of this year.

Furthermore, the tipster Kepler believed that the Ryzen X3D series housing Zen5 is all set to make its debut at CES 2025. And if these rumors are to be believed, then it seems like this year could be tough for AMD.

In contrast, some recent reports claim that Intel’s Arrow Lake processor will not be coming until the end of 2024, which could be a relaxing situation for AMD in case AMD’s Zen5 Ryzen chipset is out before Intel’s processor. Therefore, this could be a severe disadvantage if AMD’s processor manages to steal the limelight in the market.
