Philips’ Launched New Monitor with 48.8” Curved Ultrawide Screen

Philips has unveiled a new ultra-wide office monitor, the 49B2U6900CH, which replaces the 49B2U5900CH launched three months ago with greater capability and improvements. Here are some specifications of the monitor.

The product’s dimensions with a stand are 1193 x 583 x 268 mm; without a stand, it is 1193 x 373 x 164 mm. It includes an adjustable webcam that is perfect for group video calls and automatically adjusts and zooms to fit all the members. Likewise, the frame will adjust if there are fewer people.

Plus, users can make calls and meetings from positions that best suit them by adjusting the webcam forward and background up to 30 degrees.

Looking at all the above features, this curved monitor, with its large 48.8 inches anti-glare LCD screen and high dual quad HD resolution of 5120 x 1440, comes with an aspect ratio of 32:9 and uses a VA Panel. It also features a 75 Hz refresh rate, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 4ms GtG, 109 PPI pixel density, temperature controller, humidity controller, and 1800R curvature for its panels.

It features a 5 MP pop-up webcam with a noise canceling microphone and auto framing for video conferencing. It includes the OSD languages like English, French, Finnish, German, Greek, Hungary, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, Türkiye, Ukrainian, etc.

Additionally, it also includes an earphone hook. The monitor features DisplayHDR 400 certification, low Blue Mode with flicker-free touch, etc. The monitor offers a variety of ports for connectivity.
