Galaxy A32, A13 Bags September 2023 Security Update

Samsung is currently testing its devices’ Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update. Recently, the company released One UI 6.0 beta for Galaxy S23 in China. Meanwhile, the company is expanding the September 2023 security update for Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A13 in the US.

September 2023 Update:

The latest software update for the Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A13 arrives in some carriers in the US with firmware version A326USQSBDWH6 and A136USQS6DWH6, respectively. It is available for T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Dish Wireless, and Sprint, and it brings the September 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws found in the previous software version. On the other hand, it does not get any new features or performance and reliability enhancements.

Additionally, the update improves the system security of the device, giving users better security and privacy policies. This further enhances the stability and reliability of the device. Furthermore, these are just minor changes that have come out with the update, but they are essential as they all lead to better, smoother, and bug-free performance.

The update is currently available for locked variants in the US, and the company will soon expand it to other carriers and countries. If you have a Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A13 phone and live in the US, you can now check for the new update. To do this, go to Settings > Software Update and tap Download and Install. Alternatively, you can wait for the OTA update.

One UI 6.0:

In early 2021, Samsung released the Galaxy A32 smartphones with Android 11-based One UI 3. x software out of the box. The device was previously upgraded to Android 12 and Android 13, while an Android 14 update is uncertain but likely to be available.
