OPPO launched OPPO A9 (2020) a few months ago, the mobile equipped with a quad-camera setup including 48MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor (ultrawide) and two, 2MP sensors.
The OPPO A9 2020 was launched with Android 9 Pie, after that it received a few bug fixes and security updates, but the smartphone hasn’t got any major OS update. Recently the mobile also got Android January 2020 Security Patch.

Many Oppo A9 (2020) users are wondering when ColorOS 7 (Android 10) update will hit their device. Some users tweet every day asking Oppo about ColorOS 7 on Oppo A9 (2020).
Today, ColorOS (@colorosglobal) on twitter posted that “An OPPO phone that has 6.53″ screen, 5000mAh battery, and 48MP Camera will get a #ColorOS7 + #Android10 trial update in coming days. The application starts tomorrow, do you know which model is it?” We hope that the device will be Oppo A9 2020, according to the ColorOS 7 official roadmap the device will get an Android 10 update in the first quarter, so it confirms that tomorrow, Oppo A9 2020 will get ColorOS 7 because of the Find X series, Reno series, and OPPO R series has already received ColorOS 7 except OPPO A9.
