Have You Notice Instagram’s Threads App Not Support Hashtags

On July 6, Instagram announced a new, Twitter-like social media platform called Threads, available for download on Android and iOS platforms. Some analysts said it competes with Twitter and offers many of the same features, including posting text-centric updates alongside images and videos. However, have you noticed that Instagram’s Threads app does not support hashtags (#)?

One significant difference between Threads and Twitter is that there will be no limit on the number of posts that can be viewed, which Twitter previously imposed. Also, the company official said that it cannot promise not to add ads to threads in the future but is currently focusing on developing its applications.

Instagram’s Threads App does not support hashtags.

After installing and downloading this app, we learned many new features of Instagram’s threads. On the other hand, in this application, we have found that this application does not support the same hashtags as Instagram accounts.

If adding hashtags to new threads, we’ve been noticing in the Threads app that it doesn’t support hashtags the same way as Instagram. If you notice, Instagram hashtags show a blue link, but you will see the exact text in threads.

So we can expect this feature to come to the Threads app in a future update after a notice from the company. Now, that’s not a problem, it can be customized, and soon it will look similar to Instagram.
