Previously, in 2022, the brand conducted its first test by sending and receiving 6G THz data wirelessly over a distance of 320 meters outdoors at the Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz Institute in Berlin and Germany. LG and Fraunhofer cooperated to create core equipment for 6G transmission and reception, counting a multi-channel power amplifier and a receiver low-noise amplifier, that helped optimize performance and improve output by over 50%.
Through the latest successful test at LG Science Park, the brand has stretched the area of wireless transmission and reception distance from 320 meters to 500 meters.
