Apple Testing iOS 17.0.3 Update To Fix iPhone 15 Pro Overheating

The brand ‘Apple’ started testing the iOS 17.0.3 version internally to fix the overheating issue on iPhone 15 Pro models. The owners of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users have been going through the overheating inconvenience since the launch day. And continuously complaining about their phones melting even during normal usage and charging.

Regarding this toasty issue, the company ‘Apple’ assures the users that it will solve this issue as soon as possible through future updates. According to the information, the brand is testing the upcoming iOS 17.0.3 update to fix the overheating issue.

However, the company did not provide detailed information about the bug which is identified. Still, of course, it stated that it would not be reducing the performance of the A17 Pro chip with its planned software update. Apple also mentioned that the iPhone 15 Pro’s titanium frame is not to blame. So, from this statement, it seems that the overheating issues are not the result of hardware deficiencies.

However, the same bug fix should be included in iOS 17.1, which is presently in its beta stage and expected to roll out in late October. The company said that the overheating issues were also because of some applications overloading the A17 pro chip, which includes Instagram, Uber, and the racing game Asphalt 9: Legends.

Now, the company is working with the developers of these apps just to find the solution as fast as possible. Whereas Instagram already released an app update with a fix on Wednesday. Uber also upgraded its application today. It also needs to be made clear how many users have been cursed by the issue. According to reports, not all iPhone 15 Pro users have experienced overheating issues.

Fortunately, the company is working on this issue, and soon it will be fixed.
