HIGHLIGHTS
  • For the Roku device, YouTube TV is delivering out the latest, minor update, by which the brand is adding a clock to the live guide.
  • A clock in the live guide will show the current time in their local time zone.
  • It will also display the time of the program that is currently playing on each channel.

YouTube TV offers users from the hottest music videos to what’s popular in gaming, fitness, movies, shows, news, and many more. The users can also subscribe to channels as per their choice and convenience, browse personal recommendations, and enjoy the biggest library of 4K content.

And now, for the Roku device, YouTube TV is delivering the latest, minor update, by which the brand is adding a clock to the live guide. However, it seems like a minor update but a contable one. Undoubtedly, YouTube TV is a well-known live TV streaming service which offers 100+ channels of live plus on-demand programming. Including Roku, it is available on multiple devices.

Now disclosed as Google’s fastest-growing product, YouTube TV has also had a very fast pace when it comes to new features. But, most of the time, those features come on devices fairly erratically. Now, the live guide for YouTube TV is adding a small clock to the interface a while back on some platforms, for instance, Google TV, along with a clock being an easier way than ever to see the time in the context of live programming.

The users could also argue this is not really “necessary.” it is just one of those convenient little additions which the users will miss if it’s not there.

So now, with this update, the YouTube TV application for the Roku device has a clock in the live guide, which will show the current time in their local time zone. It will also display the time of the program that is currently playing on each channel.

To use the clock in the live guide, the users just have to follow the steps mentioned here;

  • Open the YouTube TV application on a Roku device.
  • Then, Navigate to the Live Guide tab.
  • Finally, the clock will display at the top right corner of the screen.
