Google Wallet Officially Launched In India

Even though Google is the best in the world of smartphones and technology, to go even further in this, Google has launched a new app, Google Wallet, in India. The function of this wallet is to make it easier for the user to make payments and other transactions. In India, it will be available only for Android users.

How To Install Google Wallet

You can download Google Wallet from the Play Store, it is now available. and you can also follow the link to download it through Chrome. However, it has yet to be launched for download, and it is speculated that it will also be rolled out for iOS soon.

How To Use Google Wallet

After downloading it from the Play Store, the app will automatically link to your Google Account. Next, you must select the “Add the Wallet” option to add your tickets or other items. Additionally, you can choose a photo to create the pass using any photo with a barcode or QR Code.

Loyalty will allow you to add digital copies of your loyalty points from brands like Flipkart (Supercoins), Domino’s, and Shoppers Stop. You can also easily add your boarding passes and tickets to the app.

Google Wallet Feature

It lets you store boarding passes, loyalty cards, event tickets, public transportation passes, and gift cards. Google Wallet works separately from Google Pay, which works separately for UPI payments. Additionally, the company has partnered with other companies, such as PVR and INOX, Air India, Indigo, Flipkart, and Abhibus.

Many more companies will be included in this partnership, so you can easily store movie tickets, bus and flight tickets, loyalty cards, and gift cards in a single app. This app will work similarly to the Apple Wallet.

Pixel users also get a bonus feature by adding the boarding pass to their Google Wallet by taking a screenshot. This feature is also used for corporate badges and is available with WaveLinux and Alert Enterprise.

Under another feature, you can create new passes from any image with barcodes or QR codes, which can also be used for airline boarding passes, luggage tags, or parking receipts. You can also automatically add movies or any other tickets to the wallet, for which you need to turn on smart personalization settings in Gmail. Then, all tickets sent to Gmail will be automatically added to Google Wallet.
