Honor has confirmed that the highly anticipated Honor Magic V2 Foldable phone, a device of global significance, will also make its debut in global markets, as was clear during the Mobile World Congress 2024. However, it will be launched first in the Chinese market, and the company is currently considering releasing the Magic Foldable in the Indian market, offering a unique opportunity for Indian tech enthusiasts.
Will Honor Magic V2 Foldable Be Avaialble Phone In India?
HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has provided clear information about the arrival of the Honor Magic lineup in the country. Honor’s latest foldable series will include two models: Honor Magic V2 and Honor Magic V2 RSR. It is expected that it will be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Madhav Sheth announced the launch of Vivo Fold 3 Pro in a post on Tuesday, May 21, in which it was revealed that “Confidence or Naivety ?” It is being speculated that this device will have more capabilities than expected. However, the company has yet to explicitly show the exact launch date of the Magic series in India or the models coming to the country.
Honor Magic V2 was announced during IFA 2023. Later, it was introduced in the Honor Magic V2 RSR in collaboration with Porsche Design. After this, along with its launching country, other things were also revealed. Honor Magic V2 and Honor Magic V2 RSR will be run on Android 13 based on MagicOS 7.2.
The Honor Magic V2 Foldable Phone is a technological marvel, boasting a 6.43 inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 7.92 inch inner OLED display. It’s not just about the size, it’s about the power too, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB internal storage. The triple rear camera unit of this series includes a 50MP primary sensor, 50 MP ultrawide sensor and 20 MP telephoto unit, promising stunning photography capabilities.
Under the hood, the handset will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W wired charging support. The 16GB/1 TB RAM model could be priced at EURO 2,699, while the India model could be around Rs.2,42,000. The color specifications are not confirmed.
