After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M55 in other regions, Samsung is ready to launch its new midrange device, the Samsung Galaxy F55, in India. The specifications of the device are similar, but the company has informed us that the F55 has more developed camera features. The Samsung Galaxy F55 has a great display and touch quality because it comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, Full HD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness. These qualities give a better gaming experience. The backside features a faux leather back, which makes it easy to hold and provides a better grip.
The processor is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, and the storage is 8GB/12GB RAM, which can be expanded by the microSD Card. The handset will run on Android 14 based on One UI 6.1 and receive four major Android OS updates and five security updates.
The device houses a 50 MP selfie camera on the front and back. It includes a 50 MP primary camera with OIS, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro camera. Under the hood, the device packs a 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging. The other connectivity options may include stereo speakers, GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi – 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
It may have IP67 ratings for water and dust support and an under-display optical fingerprint reader for security. The device will come in three configurations: 8GB/128GB RAM, 8GB/256 GB RAM, and 12GB/256GB RAM. It will be available in two colour options: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black, and it will be sold out on Flipkart and Samsung India at 7 PM today.
