What is the Tactical Drone?

The Drone is a piece of Tactical Equipment that allows players to securely scout a long distance and even pick up an item without the danger of direct battle. Drones will appear on all maps. Normal Matches, Custom Games, Training Mode, and Sandbox Mode will all have Drones.

After looting and equipping the drone, players can hold the Drone Tablet in their hands. Drone View may then be toggled in and out of by the players.

Features of the Drone

When players enter Drone View, the Drone will take to the skies. When a drone is in flight, it will produce noise and have a characteristic blinking light. A deployed Drone will be identified by a distinct drone icon on both the map and the minimap.

Players’ characters will stop moving and lose control of their bodies as they fly about in the perspective of the Drone in Drone View. If players exit Drone View, the Drone will remain in its current position.

A Drone in flight can be recalled by players. When a recall is conducted, the Drone will attempt to return in a straight path to the location where the player recalled it.

The Drone will return to the spot where it was initially recalled by the player. If the player attempts to use the Drone Tablet while the recall is in progress, the recall will be terminated. If the player uses the recall function again while the recall is in process, the recall will be terminated. While being recalled, the Drone cannot avoid obstacles or go through solid things.

The Drone has a vast operation radius of 300m that players must remain inside while flying the Drone. When the Drone is within 90m of its maximum operating radius, it warns players with a warning message and a static screen.

If the Drone escapes its operational radius, it will be destroyed, and players will need to locate and repair the Drone before it can be used again. The Drone has a maximum HP of 35 and can be damaged by a variety of means.

When the Drone’s HP is depleted, it will crash to the ground and be destroyed. To utilise the Drone again, players must retrieve it and repair it. A Drone can only carry one item in its inventory. By recalling the Drone, players can obtain the Drone’s held item.
