Samsung’s most innovative move was to introduce impressive AI-powered features with its latest One UI 6.1-powered Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup. The features bring some of the best and most innovative capabilities that will indeed take the user experience to the next level. Simultaneously, Samsung is highly known for its highly customizable Android skin, One UI, and with the arrival of the latest One UI 6.1, AI-powered things are getting more advanced. As of now, Samsung has reserved the Galaxy AI features for its current flagship Galaxy S24 models. Now, reports have been coming out, suggesting the arrival of the AI features on more devices.
Samsung introduced the AI-powered features, known as Galaxy AI, with its current flagship S24 models through the new One UI 6.1 update, and has officially stated that these features are exclusive to the Galaxy S24 lineup. But simultaneously, reports have been leaked that Samsung could bring the new Galaxy AI features to other Galaxy models, including the Samsung Galaxy S23, along with the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, respectively.
A tipster, IceUniverse, has shared a screenshot that suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 will get the entire list of AI features of the Galaxy S24 models. However, older Galaxy models like the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S22 will not be treated with the Galaxy AI, while on the flip side, nothing can be officially claimed at this point in time, as Samsung has not confirmed it right at the moment.
As mentioned, it’s yet unclear as to what Samsung will decide about the distribution of the Galaxy AI with One UI 6.1 update, while the brand is expected to begin the rollout process of the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1 firmware update in the eligible market somewhere by the end of this month.
