The first batch of ColorOS 12 (Android 12) early adopters upgrade requirements open for OPPO and OnePlus devices

Today, ColorOS’s official Weibo announced that ColorOS 12 has started recruiting for early adopters. Models such as the OnePlus 9, the OnePlus 9 Pro, and OPPO Find X3 Pro can participate in the early adopters. After the application is approved, the update will be pushed within 3 working days.

It is reported that the ColorOS 12 operating system is a deeply customized system based on Android 12. This is also the first batch of Android 12 customized systems in China.

On Android 12, Google focused on strengthening security and privacy protection to ensure that users have more understanding and more restrictions on applications that are accessing their own data.

The user can see the permission settings of the APP and which data is being accessed, the frequency of access, and which applications are accessed.

Also note that before upgrading Android 12, Find X3 Pro users need to upgrade to version A.27, and OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users need to upgrade to version A.10 first.

ColorOS 12 will be officially released on September 16, when OPPO Find X3 Photographer Edition will be unveiled on the same stage.
