Realme rolls Realme UI 2.0 update for Realme X7 5G without AOD customization and Edge lighting

Realme just released early access Realme UI 2.0 beta program for Realme X7 5G smartphone in India. The company is slowly bringing Android 11 for its smartphones, in less than three weeks the company added several smartphones to the list of Android 11-running smartphones.

The Realme X7 5G debuted with Realme UI based on Android 10 in India. Though it was launched months apart from each other, the device is getting the first beta Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update after a successful registration. However, the Chinese variant has already received a stable update of Realme UI 2.0 skin.

Realme X7 5G is getting Android 11 features such as one-time permission for microphone and location, chat bubbles, conversation notifications, media controls in the quick settings menu, and more. Realme UI 2.0 also introduces a bunch of new features such as new Dark Mod styles, Optimized Night Charging, Ringtone Maker, and Sleep Capsule.

It is disappointing to learn that Realme didn’t add the AOD customizations and Edge Lightings even after the Realme UI 2.0 update for Realme X7 5G. The Pro variant has equipped this feature after Realme UI 2.0 beta.

The device needs to be running firmware with version RMX3092PU_11_A.14/ A.16 / A.17. Then it will receive the highly-anticipated Realme UI 2.0 stable update that carries version number RMX3092_11_C.01.

Note: This update only for limited users, those who registered Realme UI 2.0 early access beta program.
